One of the world’s most popular smartphone may be getting a facelift in the near future. There has been speculation all around the web regarding Apple iPhone’s operating system. The update is apparently available for those who have the iPhone 3G and 3GS devices.

The interface has also been simplified and that they could possibly add a less intrusive notification alert (a la Android?). Sprint is set to release another smartphone from Samsung namely the Samsung Moment, Samsung’s first Android-powered phone. The handset will go on sale starting on November 1st for $179.99 with a 2-year contract agreement and after a $50 instant saving and a $100 mail-in-rebate. So here’s what you get, an 800MHz processor, a 3.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, a 3.2MP camera, a full QWERTY keyboard, an accelerometer sensor, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), GPS, WiFi, stereo Bluetooth, EV-DO Rev A connectivity, a 3.5mm headphone jack and provides access to social networking sites including Twitter, Facebook and Flickr.
