Instagram rolls its ToS back to the previous version after uproar, will ‘take time to complete its plans’

After upsetting users with changes to its Terms of Service, Instagram announced tonight that it’s discarding some of them for now, rolling back the advertising section to the ToS in place since 2010. Reiterating his previous statement that Instagram never had any plans to sell user photos, company co-founder Kevin Systrom explained in a blog post that instead of trying to create terms shaped around “possible advertising products it had not yet developed” it would come back with complete plans and explain to users “how we would like our advertising business to work.” There are still changes to the ToS and privacy policy coming effective January 19th, 2013, which can be reviewed on its website.

Also apologizing for a failure to clearly communicate the company’s intentions, Systrom noted that any distribution of user photos has been and still is governed by the separate privacy policy. Instagram’s changes came as part of its acquisition by Facebook, and the change-policy-face-backlash-then-apologize dance step is a classic Zuckerberg move. So in light of this backtracking, are you going to watermark all your brunch pics before uploading, jump ship to competing services like Flickr or just keep using / not using the service as usual?

Leaked BlackBerry 10 screenshots reveal new UI, Siri-like voice interface

Leaked BlackBerry 10 screenshots reveal new UI, possible Sirilike voice interface

It’s a little over a month until BlackBerry 10‘s official introduction, but that hasn’t stopped leaked screenshots of the OS from circulating on the web. Some folks on the Tinhte Vietnamese forums, which also revealed hands-on video and gallery of the BlackBerry 10 L-Series, have just released pictures of RIM’s revamped phone UI. Most notably, the images provide a sneak peek at a new “BlackBerry Hub” all-in-one message center along with an intriguing voice interface that reminds us a lot of Siri. We also get a preview of how apps like Twitter, Facebook and Foursquare will look; unsurprisingly, they seem pretty similar to their Android and iOS cousins. It certainly looks as if the redesign is a complete overhaul rather than just a quick paint job, but we won’t know the full details until we see it for ourselves early next year. Until then, head on over to the source to get an early look at what could be RIM’s savior.

Motorola brags about the DROID RAZR MAXX HD’s battery life at Apple iPhone’s expense

It seems that taking jabs at Apple’s iPhone is a fashionable way to promote a smartphone these days. Motorola is the latest manufacturer to use the trick in its latest ad, posted on its official Facebook page. It shows an image of the Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX HD jump starting an iPhone 4S.

Microsoft Canada claims HTC 8X, Nokia Lumia 920 ship in earnest to Rogers on November 12th

Microsoft Canada slips word that HTC 8X, Nokia Lumia 920 may ship in earnest on November 12th

American carriers have almost been tripping over themselves to pin down release dates for their Windows Phone 8 devices, but we’ve heard precious little for those north of the border. Microsoft Canada has at last showed its hand: the company’s Facebook page briefly showed that Rogers would offer both the HTC Windows Phone 8X and full-scale shipments of the Nokia Lumia 920 on November 12th. While Rogers will only confirm to us so far that the HTC 8X is arriving sometime “next week,” the post suggests Canada might get HTC’s leading device slightly ahead of the US, on top of just edging out Americans on the Nokia flagship. Any truth to the exact timing could satisfy those who think even the wait for Bell’s rumored November 15th launch might be too long.

Samsung’s Galaxy S III crosses 30 million sold

Samsung's Galaxy S III crosses 30 million sold

Just hours after Samsung’s Korean arm remarked on the sales of its Galaxy Note II, Samsung Poland jumped into the act confirming the Galaxy S III has moved 30 million units. We don’t know if the celebration included taking a victory lap going the wrong way, but the figure is the highest announced for a phone in the series, after the original Galaxy S topped 10 million in 2011, and the Galaxy S II breached 20 million earlier this year. The line has even spawned spinoffs like the aforementioned Note and upcoming Galaxy S III mini, all while showing no sign of slowing any time soon — lawsuit or not.

Google mobile web revamp brings hidden sidebar, feels all too familiar

Google mobile web revamp brings hidden sidebar, feels all too familiar

Google+ has it. Facebook has it. Even Spotify and Evernote have it. “It” is the hidden sidebar, and that subtle if over-repeated interface has spread to Google’s mobile home page. Visit from an iOS or Android device and the front end will resemble the desktop web version, but with a sidebar that exposes Google’s services in a more elegant way than the top bar we’ve had to use before. The redesign isn’t showing for everyone as of this writing, so don’t be disappointed if Google’s new drive towards interface consistency isn’t available yet. Just know that there’s one less refuge from the trendiest input metaphor of 2012.

Open Question: If women with small breasts are found so attractive, sexy, and desirable, why then do large breasts?
receive so much attention?
honestly a girl with a flat chest is a deal breaker for me, its like being with a 10 year old girl i dont mean to sound like an assh0le, but thats just my taste dont blame me for what i like, everyone is different and has likes and dislikes but from a scientific perspective, men prefer a woman with bigger boobs because it shows that she is more fetrile and can feed her offspring, thats just nature (survival of the fittest) natural selection, thats why muscular men go for the hot girls, although he can get any girl he wants, and it goes the same way for women, at school all the guys drool over one girl, she knows she can get any guy she wants, but she waits for a guy of her ”quality” to come along

lets take me for example, before i was skinny, honestly i was a 6/10, i had no game, no girl ever looked at me, then one day it hit me, i went to the gym, got muscular, i got some game, changed my attitude, style etc, of course all of this didn’t happened overnight, it took me more than a year for the transformation, now im a 8/10, but before when i was a 6/10, i would have gone out with a flat chested girl (because that all i could get), but now im changed, now i can attract girls with big boobs, so thats what i go for, i can still go for a girl with a flat chest, but if i know i can do better, why settle for less, from my experience if youre not happy and insecure about something, you can do something about it, but everything has a risk and a reward

sorry for sounding shallow, honestly i didnt mean to come off this way, but life is not fair, im glad i learned that early in life,

SORRY, i didnt mean to, if i offended anyone, (but theres a saying (plain talk, bad manners),

what i said above is just my personal opinion (i could be right, i could be wrong), what you make of it is up too you.

  1. A guy who cares that much about boob size aint worth my time.. Hence why i aint reading this bullshit. Fyi Women with wider hips are more fertile, Breast size has not correlated with fertility.

Also, Shannon is a shit name for a boy IN MY OPINION.

  2. Ya i skipped over all of that…Judging a girl on her boob size is just…No! I could care less about looks when it comes to dating a girl…It matters about their personality! You also basically just shot down and made Flat chest girls feel horrible ._. Personally i love flat chested girls but ya boobs should not matter at all for you to like someone
  3. We all have our ideal looks we are attracted to. There may even be conflicting desires as in nice tidy small boobs and also the melons.

A lot of your Game and ranking is in your head. I would guess you outwardly didn’t change so much but your inner thoughts and actions changed and this upped your game. So, your progress was in your head mostly.

I suggest you work to be with the type of female that appeals to you and not be unkind to those that don’t. At some point you may find your total ranking of desirability will weigh different factors more than you are ranking them now. For me I like a spunky female. Something playful and interesting is better than just pretty and dull to talk to. Also, most very pretty girls are very demanding and expect that you live according to their wants and desires only.
